Company Watch
Adding companies to your watchlist, Early Distress Watch warnings, plan limits, email digests, and material-change selection.
What is Company Watch?
Company Watch is a private watchlist attached to your BUSINESS.fi account. You can watch companies without owning or managing their public company profiles.
Company Watch collects material changes in one view and can send a daily or weekly email digest at the cadence you choose. Early Distress Watch can also surface predictive risk signals before a possible severe registry event.
What is an Early Distress Watch warning?
Early Distress Watch is a private Company Watch early-warning layer. It combines risk signals from open registry and reporting data that may not, on their own, change the public OPTEROM Risk Grade.
The warning is probabilistic: an elevated or high signal does not mean bankruptcy, liquidation, or another severe event will occur. Its purpose is to surface companies whose available evidence shows unusually strong early signs of deterioration for closer review.
Which plans include Company Watch and how many companies can I watch?
Company Watch is not included with Free. Basic includes one watched company, Pro includes up to 50 companies, and Accountant includes up to 200 companies.
- Free: not included
- Basic: 1 company
- Pro: 50 companies
- Accountant: 200 companies
How do I add a company to Company Watch?
Sign in to BUSINESS.fi, find the company in Company search, and open its company profile. Choose Watch company and select Daily, Weekly, or No email digest.
You can manage all watches from the Company Watch section in Workspace or from the dedicated Company Watch page.
Which changes does Company Watch include?
Company Watch focuses on material changes. Current event classes include Early Distress Watch level changes, BUSINESS.fi Risk Grade changes, new financial statements, meaningful registry and governance changes, and selected official listed-company announcements.
Ordinary web mentions, minor registry churn, and repeated assessments with an unchanged Early Distress Watch level are not sent as Company Watch digest items.
When will I receive email?
Email is sent only when a completed daily or weekly window contains a change classified as material for one of your watched companies. No message is sent for an empty window.
For each company you can choose Daily, Weekly, or No email digest. No email digest keeps the company in your Company Watch view while suppressing email delivery.
How do I remove a company from Company Watch?
Open Workspace or Company Watch, find the watched company, and choose Remove. Removal remains available even if a paid subscription has ended.
If a subscription ends or a plan limit is reduced, Company Watch does not automatically delete saved watches. Later-saved watches above the current plan limit remain stored but paused; the earliest saved watches stay active up to the plan allowance.
